Frequently Asked Questions
Does Griffith Medicine require the UCAT?
No. Griffith is one of the few medical programs in Australia that requires neither the UCAT nor an interview. Selection is based entirely on your selection rank (ATAR plus any adjustments).
What ATAR do I need for Griffith Medicine?
You need a 99.90 selection rank. Adjustments are available: +0.05 for rural background, +0.05 for Queensland/Northern NSW residents, and up to +0.10 for Educational Access Scheme (EAS). Maximum cumulative adjustment is 0.20 points, meaning a 99.70 ATAR with maximum adjustments could meet the threshold.
