What is the UQ selection formula?
UQ uses a transparent formula: 25% UCAT (excluding SJT) + 25% ATAR + 50% MMI interview. SJT is only used as a tiebreaker. This makes interview performance the single most important factor.
What is the difference between bonded and non-bonded places?
Non-bonded places have no return-of-service obligation. Bonded places require 3 years of work in a regional, rural, or remote area after completing the MD. Both are Commonwealth Supported. The median raw ATAR for non-bonded was 99.55 and for bonded was 99.45 (2025 entry).
