Program Overview
About the Program
Bond Medicine is Australia's fastest medical program at just 4 years and 8 months. As a private university, it operates on a full-fee basis ($443,520 total) with no Commonwealth Supported Places available.
Bond does not use the UCAT — instead, applicants who meet the ATAR threshold sit Bond's own psychometric test (MSCEIT II), which measures emotional intelligence. Unlike most other programs, Bond does not give preference to rural applicants.
The application deadline is January 22 of the intake year — the latest of any Australian medical program, meaning you can apply after receiving your ATAR.

The Bond Medicine Interview
A psychometric assessment sits in front of the MMI circuit, and you generally have to clear it before the interview counts.
We have not verified Bond's interview dates for the current cycle. Undergraduate interviews across Australia generally run from November to mid-January, with invitations from mid-October — but check Bond's own admissions page for your year rather than relying on that range.
How to prepare for a Psychometric + MMI interview
- Treat the psychometric stage as a separate hurdle with its own preparation, not a formality.
- Answer psychometric items consistently. These instruments include internal consistency checks, and contradictory answers are visible.
- The MMI circuit that follows rewards the same habits as any other: timing discipline, structure, and a clean reset between stations.
